ADDRESS: Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre, Crocus City Complex, Krasnogorsk, p/o Krasnogorsk-4, p/o/ box 92, 65-66 Km MKAD (Moscow Ring Road), the Moscow region, 143400 Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre The Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre was planned and built in accordance with the highest international architectural standards and using modern construction materials. Its primary purpose is holding large international exhibitions of various types with participation from Russian and foreign companies.
The official opening of the first pavilion took place on March 18, 2004, and was the major event of the year in the exhibition business, attracting huge attention from the state, press, and business spheres. In particular, A.I. Agalarov, Crocus International President, B.V. Gromov, Moscow Oblast Governor, and A.I. Kazmin, the President and Chairman of Sberbank, were all in attendance at the opening ceremony.
At the present time, Crocus Expo is one of the largest and most promising exhibition spaces in Russia. The enclosed exhibition area of its two pavilions amounts to 86,800 square metres and the open space totals 66,500 square metres. In the two pavilions of the exhibition centre there are 11 exhibition halls (Pavilion 1 – 27,550 square metres, Pavilion 2 – 59,200 square metres), technical equipment which meets the most current international standards, 13 conference halls (Pavilion 1, Pavilion 2) equipped with everything necessary to hold conference events, presentations, seminars, and nine conference rooms. For the comfort of visitors we are building an enclosed passage between the two pavilions, equipped with travelators, which will save time when viewing exhibitions and moving about the space. Crocus Expo possesses excellently developed infrastructure: there are Sberbank (the Savings Bank) and Crocus Bank outlets in the pavilions, service centres, food courts, cafés, and restaurants (Pavilions 1 and 2), taxi stands, a cloakroom, a customs point and rigging service. At the entrance to each exhibition hall and in the food courts there are universal multimedia terminals which help Crocus Expo visitors find their way around the pavilions, and each individual exhibition. The most up-to-date security systems guarantee organizers and exhibitors calm working conditions during exhibitions, as well as during installation and dismantling. Security services are distributed around the exhibition as a whole, but exhibitors can also order separate security for their stands. |
